We wanted to let you know that we have heard your frustrations about shipping delays and the lack of communication and we are very sorry.
While we messaged delays on 12/5 and set the expectation that we’re aiming to fulfill orders to arrive by 12/24, we recognize that a lack of proactive updates since then have caused further frustration and rightfully so.
We wanted to share some context that will shed some light on what you’ve been experiencing.
Bucketsquad has been in a fortunate position this year of truly unprecedented growth thanks to you. We had planned resources to support aggressive growth this holiday season, but what actually happened surpassed our wildest expectations. As a result, this challenged our supply chain as we swiftly moved to meet demand and we were not fully prepared to support the outsized surge in customer inquiries to deliver satisfactory service, something that is very important to us. For that we are very sorry and we will work to do better.
Please note that over 95% of orders received before our shipping cutoff of 12/16 have been and are being shipped to deliver by 12/24 and that we are paying for expedited overnight shipping, fulfilling orders through Monday 12/23 to make sure that we can help be a part of making the holidays special. We apologize if any shortcomings on this end result in disappointment.
